BEST COFFEE SHOP STUDY SPOTS IN NOTTINGHAM

With Nottingham being the big uni town that it is, it'd be expected that there would be some cosy and aesthetic study spots dotted around. If you want to daydream about mixing up your study sessions  post COVID-19 and spend the day somewhere with comfy chairs, yummy food and amazing views, then check out my list below of my favourite study spots in Notts!

200 DEGREES, CARRINGTON ST
The amazing view was both a blessing a curse by my keen interest in people watching, but the heavenly iced lattes makes it all worth it. While this was a bar stool along the window, the seats were super comfy with easy to access plugs available and free wifi! There's also lots of larger tables and chairs along a booth seat with more plugs if you don't want to be distracted by the beautiful canal.

But I cannot stress this enough - the best iced lattes ever.

COCO TANG
While students in Nottingham might be used to heading to Coco Tang for their super fun cocktails in the evening, during the day Coco Tang is an amazing Vietnamese style cafe. The decor is to die for and so is the amazing menu of authentic food - perfect to fuel a productive study day! They also have an extensive menu of delicious teas and coffees to power through all the reading and essay writing.

CARTWHEEL COFFEE

A cosy spot in the trendy part of Nottingham, Cartwheel Coffee is a great spot to mix up your study routine. While a little on the small and noisy side, Cartwheel Coffee also serves up some delicious coffee. There is also a fabulous menu of brunches and lunches to keep you powered up throughout your study sesh!

PORTLAND COFFEE CO
If you go to the University of Nottingham, you should be pretty familiar with this gem. Portland Coffee Co is well positioned inside the Portland Building with a comfy array of sofas inside, and a lovely sunny terrace for the summer. They also serve delicious 200 Degrees coffee alongside some delicious lunch options, and the all important Beeston Brownies! While it can be a bit busy and noisy during peak times, this is a great study spot!

THE SPECIALTY COFFEE SHOP

This little gem in Nottingham is also a great study spot. They serve up some delicious coffee and Italian inspired breakfast and lunch options! It's also light and aesthetic inside for that all important Instagram story to show everyone that you're doing some work.
